New Order/Ross/Popbitch

-- Reasons to watch jonothan ross tonight... He rips into Kelly Osbourne so much about her new single cover that she almost cries and calls him a wanker. Basically saying she's a lying bitch for refusing to admit she'd had her flab airbrushed off her. So scathing was his attack that The Hoff (yes...the hoff!) was refusing to go on and Anamatronic(?) went and had a go at him. Cue another big barny. Audience not getting into it at all and producers sweating buckets backstage. As a result, jonothan introduces New Order and whasername something like this:

"And to end the show, here's New Order and their deeply average new single!"

You always only get one song on Wossy. Incidental music comes from his house band - called 4 Poofs and a Piano, as far as I know...

Morrissey had two a year ago. He played Everyday is Like Sunday and Irish Blood.

Who is this Ross guy?

someone on these forums proclaimed that ross was a new order fan which suprised me no end as he has made several negative comments on them and joy division (miserable bastards ect),and i was even more suprised to see them performing on his show because of this as he supposedly hand picks most of the bands to appear,so in his eyes it must have been a poor week of available bands. if he did make such a comment im suprised they even played as they have been known to "walk" for less. as for ross himself i find his tv show very hit n miss anyways,but as for his radio show or should we say the "david bowie promotion slot" it aint too bad,its just a shame he has his head so far up bowies arse that you can see his face when bowie yawns.

But he surely holds up a copy of the CD to camera and says "check out the album Waiting For The Siwens Call"

How was the band on ROSS?Any good?:D
