I know i probably forgot a couple. I wish it offered the write-in option.
i really like "isolation". I love it when steven kicks in. I think it was clear that "isolation" was a step in the evalution of joy division into new order.

My vote goes to 'Transmission' - partly because I like it (when Hooky DOESN'T scream 'Come onnnnn') and partly because it's so energetic and Barney doesn't 'woop' through it...
Jonathan - I can't remember them doing NDF - though a guest appearance with Moby rings a bell?
Try buying '511' - Digital live at Finsbury. i seem to remember hearing it at Alexandra Palace and Brixton Academy as well.
yeah, they did digital at finsbury with the actor who played barney in 24hrpp.
it was pretty rockin
Isolation, better than the original and the best thing they did 1998-2001, between their comeback and Get Ready. ![]()

i would have to agree
Atmosphere squeaks it for me
Powerful as a bastard it sounds when New order do it nowadays.Class![]()
SLC for me, the 511 rendition is spot on and gave me a shiver when I first heard/saw it.
Digital has potential, but it seemed a little under-rehearsed on the DVD (with missed cues, etc.); which is charming in it's own way, but not exactly spine-tingling.

Absolutely loved hearing Transmission live this time, so I voted for that. If it hadn't been for that factor, would've gone for SLC.
Probably 'Atmosphere'. Faithful renditions, sparse and still haunting. 'Digital' was too slow on 511.
Also, the guitar mix is much higher on LWTUA live now than all previous versions (both live and studio). For all of Barney's 'Can't play and sing at the same time' blah, he seems to put in the extra effort for LWTUA. Bravo.
Probably Atmosphere. LWTUA I'd say, but it still seems weird not to hear Ian's brooding vocals over that track. Isolation perhaps, but the lyrics just remind me too much of Ian. ![]()
