It looks like that. Peter Hook said in a recent Bass Player interview that he wanted to buy John Entwistle's Gibson Thunderbird in a auction, but his wife was going to kill him if he kept bidding up. The bass went for £57,000 and he didn't win the auction. I've never seen Hooky with one of these before, so I guess he got it recently.
Every time I see Barney's guitar pose in screen grabs these days his fingers seem to occupy the exact same positions on the fretboard. In every song! He's been chatting to Fletch from DM no doubt, swapping unplugged stories. The Barnster does seem very strummy-strummy on the electric gee-tar these days. All sense of the great guitar work he did particularly in JD seems out the window 
On the plus side, Phil does seem to be a very competent guitarist but it's just not the same. I love the new WFTSC output of course but part of me misses the old Barney; hunched over his guitar picking a single string melody. Miserable too of course.
These days he seems more like a pissed uncle who's spotted his nephew's electric guitar at a family gathering and decides to remind everyone of his days as guitarist in a punk band called The Plumbers or something. Phil seems to handle all the really cool New Order guitar work now, while Barney strums aimlessly and swivels 360 degrees in the background.

it looks nice. however i don´t think it´s comfortable to play on the knees like Hooky does.
So what's Hooky seen?
is he going to swat a fly or shoot down superman?

I do not think Hooky will take the chance to bring a very expensive bass to a show.

It's the same bass they used on Top of the Pops for Krafty & cd:uk for Jetstream. They used the black one for Jonathon Ross which was a live performance and these were mimed.

Stephen doesn't play on his usual Yamaha drums

Stephen wore the Space Invaders shirt in Chicago and NYC as well, can't say for california...
However, not only does he look like he's saying "what the hell am I doing here", but I wonder if he's not really thinking this...
I thought Bernard was the one not liking to do promotion, it seems evident after my little "trip" that Stephen is the one not doing anything...
But then again, perception might be wrong, maybe he was the only one really affected by jet lag...

that's not barney's regular SG Jr. either... it's an SG standard
i'm willing to bet that all of the gear was rented/supplied by the show and the band just mimed the performance.

I must say that these are the best pictures of New Order in 2005 that I've seen, period. I'm not really liking Bernard's new hairdo, though...Although I love his shirt.
