Haven't been following New Order for a while, not since the brilliant 'Get Ready' was release but recently picked up the new album and thought 'not bad' however the choice of singles ('Krafty' and 'Jetstream') is a bad mistake in my opinion and of many around me. Listening to the album a few times, I believe a track like 'Turn' would've been the obvious choice, especially in Australia where airplay has been non existent or little at all. Release 'Turn' and restore some face boys!
New Order need to TURN things around!!!

Couldn't agree more. Turn is one of the finest tracks I have heard this year, and with Athlete's 'Wires' and the new Coldplay single that is saying something. Perfectly balanced song and the lyrics are brilliant. Lets hope they do a fourth single from the album and Turn is it. NO bloody remixes though!!!
I certainly see what you mean, but you have to look at what the record companies see as being 'saleable'.
(Hmmm... so why WAS Krafty released?)
I think that Jetstream and I Told You So are the more comercially accessible tracks on the album. I don't think that they're the best though.

Oh no! Another opportunity for the Jetstream slaggers to have a go!!!
I've grown to love it over the last few weeks but agree it's definitely not one of the best on WFTSC.
Chris - thx for your email - did you get my reply or did it get lost in cyberspace?
WFTSC the song, is the best track on that album, period. And should've been the first single.

*Because it's catchy and uplifting.

*Oh, no, I Told You So is the most difficult track of the whole album, it's amazingly layered. It's my favourite for this very reasons, but nobody would hear the best things at early listenings... everyone would just say absolute bullshit like "New Order sound like Ace Of Base". Stuff like the sequenced banjo, an untrained ear from the mass audience wouldn't hear it for a while. And myself rated this song the least good of the album, let's say even the worst, after hearing it for the first times... I gave it just a 6 but didn't get it at all, it took some time but now I can fully appreciate it and it's one of my favourites ever, but it's only for fans and with much patience to listen...
