A friend and I were recalling the Technique tour show at the CNE in Toronto in '89 the other night. We were stuck in the grandstand so we were slaves to the video screens on either sides of the stage. What we both remember seeing that night was what looked like A Roland Midi pickup on Gillian's guitar.
I am just wondering if anyone else has seen this item on her or Barney's guitars?

I can remember seeing something like that on Gillian's guitar on the Reading 98 DVD while she was doing the 2nd guitar part on Paradise. I thought it was some sort of MIDI interface but wasn't sure what make or model but it's most likely to be the Roland because I'd assume it would synch up better with the XP-80 synths.
