It's a shame Hookys mic didn't get sent to Room 101 before this gig but there are some comments I'd like to know more about. First, the boys seem to be Flying on "big lines of Charlie" as Barney states it early on and hearing the aborted attempt at Rock the Shack kept me laughing for nearly 2minutes (4times longer than the aborted song). Hooky says "This ones for you..." and then plays Ceremony. Was that directed at Allen & Johnny G? After 60Mph, the crowd start chanting True Faith...was that a request or did they expect True Faith to follow? Why does Barney keep saying "new version" before True Faith when I have that version from 98? I suppose that kind of liberal view of time is what keeps us waiting for new material so long. After hearing several shows from the Get Ready tour (i've only been to one) it seems like there are some scripted "whoops" now. Touched could use a calmer vocal from Barney and Atmosphere does suffer from our heroes inability to control himself. All in all though, the show on this night is really good. my copy sounds kinda muffled though, is there a soundboard recording floating around? What shows from the Oct/Nov UK/Europe tour have soundboard recordings in circulation?

Not this one, Brian. Got Ceremony dedicated to us at one of the Manc gigs and one Brixton, not Glasgow though. Touched was dedicated to Jon Scott who posts to Ceremony a lot, in Glasgow. Can't remember which night though. They all melded into one in the end!

Thanks Allen. On this night (october 7) they dedicated Touched to Dave Beckham i think. "touched by the foot of god" or something. what was the real cause of the skipped encore the next night? diahrea? cat fight? drugs? i could see barney getting pissed at hooky for singing over the songs all the time. his voice is horrible but he's so excited to be on stage it's forgivable.

The "touched by the boot of David Beckham" comment was made on the Sunday night in Glasgow. It stirred up quite a lot boos before BS tried to placate / wind up the audience by saying "you lot have qualified as well though, no?" The answer being of course "no"!

The lack of encore on the second night was for an entirely different reason. As Mr. Jarvis said previously it's neither a particularly exciting or interesting reason.
