So after looking at Worldinmotion.net I can add:

*There's plenty of good reasons. Ever seen Marco Van Basten? His style was sheer art, we would have never seen it if he used hands. We like to se the ball being kicked and rolling on the field, seeing some bloke grabbing it and running like a caveman with a piece of meat until being pushed down to the ground like a thief caught by policemen is just not as spectacular...

Round & Round is right - reached 21 on 25th March 1989 Murder did not chart (on the 'official' charts). It did reach 30 on the NME chart (an alternative to the official chart which sampled different stores & tended to therefore be more biased towards the independant acts) on 2nd JUNE 1984.

So they've had more Top Ten's in Ireland than the UK - ten of them - but less presence in recent years. The extremely short turnover time is because the Irish charts have huge churn, with 7-8 new singles in the top 30 a week.
