Got a nice package in the mail today! Seems to pays off to run this website once in a while, especially these days.

So here is the promotional "kit" of WFTSC, some items might seems pretty useless, nevertheless, cool to add to the collection:

It's not police tape... it's really tape that can be used to close a cardboard box...

Since I'm moving... it might be useful ;)

j/k.. I fear I won't use too much of these, will put them with my so-called collection... which is not that big, but since I have the scarf as well... !

isn't HOCKEY TAPE that stuff that GIRLS keep their HOCKEY SOCKS up with? Or is it HOCKEY TAPE that goes round the end of a GIRLS HOCKEY Stick,leaves far less marks on the burgulars forehead?

the only thing i know about hockey is that is played by GIRLS and i've seen the xxx film jolly hockey sticks starring porno bambino and guy lacrosse. :nuts:

Hockey is played by men thank you, girls do play it, but they play to the level of 15 years old boys.

Tape is used on the hockey stick to get some grip AND to "hide" the puck...

I remember chatting about this with you the other week Nic. In Canada you call Hockey, what in England we call ICE Hockey. Most definitely a man's sport, in fact, a mad-man's sport. Licensed street fighting it's sometimes called too.

What we refer to as Hockey, you call FIELD Hockey, which is mainly played by school girls over here.

Hence the confusion.

i did read that when hockey does return, there will be no more ties and the shootout will be implemented if teams finish the 5 minute OT Still tied. of course only in the Regular Season.

There's also talk of eliminating the red and blue lines and replacing the puck with a beach ball.

Talk about thread hijacking ;)

Shootout is ok for regular season, I don't agree with it for playoffs though.

I mean, if soccer has it, why not hockey? I prefer to see a shootout than having ridiculous TIE games...

For the rest? useless... remove 8 teams and we'll be ok !!

It's been a long, long year and living in Florida makes hard enough as it is.

And I'm for the shootout as well.

Did you see them testing out having lines inserted just past the faceoff circles to replace the blue lines?

And what do you think of this rumours about ICE POLO? Isn't it a bit too dangerous for the poor horses? :confused2: I agree it would make ice hockey much more exciting though... ;)
