I'm not signing this one, not until they release the title track, that's for sure !!!
And if it doesn't feature remixes of Guilt Is A Useless Emotion, I'll be pissed ;)
We all know that "Waiting For The Sirens' Call" is the third and last single off the album. I won't waste my time with this petition.

That's not the point. There were 4 singles from Republic so why not from WFTSC?

It doesn't mean anything. I could say that were only two proper singles from "Get Ready". Do you really believe that they're going to release four singles off this album? Can you imagine "Turn" being remixed to fill the "b-sides"?
"Turn" was born to be a fans' favourite, like "Vanishing Point" and "Primitive Notion", not a single.
Spot-nick is Spot-on (ah ah ah ;) how funny ) First the title track, a true New Order classic. Then, if any sci-fi movie would feature a fourth single (Republic was a number one album, that's why they did four singles, and those were different times under many aspects) we would be embarassed to choose between Turn, which could do well in America, and Guilt, which could do well in clubs, but yet... Jetstream has just taught us that planning to conquer a new share of audience with targeted singles doesn't always work, so I think New Order just better be themselves and release songs that are classics of their own style, and indeed if you see the success of singles like Regret, Crystal and Krafty, you see that people don't wanna be fooled... they don't want New Order trying to please anyone, they want New Order doing their own thing... That said, I adore Jetstream, Guilt and Turn, but it seems that tricks like those don't work on a mass audience, people just care when New Order do New Order at their best, and the title track is the right track...

I love "Turn," but I imagine it would be a huge bomb as a single, so I'd rather avoid that situation altogether.
Still, one more single would mean one more Saville sleeve...

No, I will not sign this petition. Guilt Is A Useless Emotion would be a much better single (in my humble opinion).
Even though WFTSC is most New Order, Turn would do better in the charts cause of the general catchy chorus, just like Krafty, catchy chorus along with half decent verses always, general pop music buyers always attracted to that, so Turn I think wouldn't do too bad. WFTSC in my opinion, i just don't see it catching on, possibly just fall short of top 10.

Well, as far as I know, the band didn't back the release of Spooky...
And we're going to have a 4th single off this album.. in 2006 :D
As far as I know, nothing stops radio station from playing the song if they want to... it doesn't need a chopped down version just for this...
Turn should not be released. It just sounds like bland early 90's alternative rock to me. Give the song to morrissey and maybe he release.
"you in the corner" they would have to delete this line.
GUILT would be great for the summer dancefloors, but i know hooky doesnt like it.

Anybody noticed that new yorkers have the pulse in their fingers? We know turn shouldnt be a single

I'd very much doubt it if New Order will allow FOUR singles to be lifted off this album. Seeing as they already blew it by releasing Jizzstream as the second single (it should have been the title track and then Turn, in that order). Besides, I also very much doubt that any future singles will help push the album back into the top 75. I think it's run its course and very very unlikely to reappear in the chart again. You have to accept that New Order have their core UK fanbase and that's about it. No-one else is in the slightest bit interested in buying their new material anymore - that is the truth. They just don't have that broad appeal across three generations that is enough to make their singles become massive hits that hang round the charts for weeks on end - in fact, bar Blue Monday and True Faith (and to a lesser extent, World In Motion of course), how many New Order singles have spent more than 10 weeks on the chart in total? None - that's how many!!!
Although in all honesty, i would give anything for them to release morning night and day as a single with some killer remixes

My names down as the 4th sig on this petition and I haven't been anywhere near it 
Bogus names on the petition kind of calls its integrity into question. You'd need 500+ sigs to make Warners even bat an eyelid so doesn't look like much is gonna come of this.
Warners UK Director of Marketing told me that they believed Sirens' to be "3 or 4 singles deep". However, given the subsequent performance of Sirens' in the UK album chart I can't see them committing any more promotional spend over and above the 3 singles we already know about.
