Why would the Maxi CD not have the Richard X remix edit? Space issues on the CD?

And, what's up with the inclusion of State of the Nation? :confused2:

So, in contrast to the US Krafty release, no newly commissioned remixes of Jetstream.

Has anyone heard the Passengerz remix of Krafty?

Or the Pete Heller Jetstream?

Is the U-myx software going to be on the Jetstream release?

I don't think U-Myx will be on this... but I'll ask, as for the Richard X radio edit, I don't see the point of not having it.

I asked for the New Order Bunker mix as well, anybody actually got it? :skeptic:

I would have liked to see some remixes of GIAUE on the US Jetstream release, instead of more Krafty mixes. Anyone know if GIAUE has been, or will be remixed by anyone. It's a shame they won't release this as their next single, I think a remixed version would do very well at the dance clubs.

I sure hope so.. otherwise what would it be doing in the dance chart of the Billboard?

I'm not doubting that it's being played in US clubs. Obviously, Nic, it wouldn't be at # 5 on the Billboard dance chart if it weren't being played.

I just wondered if anybody here had heard it so as to be able to tell us what sort of reception it gets when it's played and which mix is played.

I have yet to hear Krafty in the clubs in NYC.

It's not a very popular track here.

As far as Billboard is concerned i can try and ask a Billboard DJ/reporter in Miami if he knows of anything.

Personally I'm not ecstatic about the Krafty remixes and def not high on the Jetstream Remixes.

I agree the US would love a good GIAUE remix.

Remember that the US is jaded with shitty hip hop and big name house. Our laziness is haunting us when it comes to music.

I have a friend who is charting on Billboard but gets no play in NYC clubs.

You guys dont really know how lucky you are to live in Europe when it comes to music.

Thanks for the input, T.

I'm not ecstatic about the Krafty remixes either.

I'd be interested in any insight your Billboard DJ/reporter can provide.

Rich Morel is doing a 'Guilt' remix

btw, his MPN mix of Krafty is very very popular in SouthBeach clubs

I heard the Glimmers 12" Krafty remix spun at I/O which is a great little club in Miami for a fantastic weekly event called Poplife. When Hooky spun at Mansion here in South Beach he played the Richard X remix.

And if it's any indication I heard Krafty played over the system at my gym...so I guess it's a little popular over here :)

Was it the album version that was played at your gym, Derek?

Girl, you know it's true:

From Morel's blog -- may 23, 2005 -The week:Working on a remix of New Order's "Guilt is a Useless Emotion,” The Killer's "All These Things I’ve Done” and just got a call to do a remix for “A Kick in the Teeth” off of Fischerspooner’s new record. They’d like the Fischerspooner mix by the end of the week. I’m psyched about doing a mix - but that song has a shit load of chord changes.

Great news. New Order and Killers remixes! :thumb:

Would we expect to see this on the WFTSC single perhaps? That woud not be permitted in the UK, though, would it?

I wrote Rich and just sorta mentioned that WFTSC would make GREAT remix material, when I saw his blog mention for guilt.

Dont know how that works, though....does the remix guy ever propose to the artists, or is it only the other way around?

If you listen to any of his own Artist releases, as a group named "Morel", you'll see that there's alot of dark side or depth to this guy, and his sound is a very original fusion of house and rock....NO fans would do well to check out his stuff...I was very excited when I discovered his stuff for myself, late last year....and it's all avail on iTunes, to boot!

Anyway, Im sure he'd love to get his hands on WFTSC.

I love you Nick, as you may know I am getting the same email you are getting from Warner Bros./Reprise Records Marketing Department. I just used what they sent me. Like Michael Jackson will sing "You are not alone".

I hope you read this David because you got me wrong... I said the reason why Side D wasn't on my first message in this thread is because *I* did a bad cut and paste job !

Hence why it was showing on your site (and on the front page of this website) and not in this thread.

Another misunderstanding, I curious to see how well Jetstream will not do with the band not doing a promo for it.

They didn't promote Crystal much in the US and it went #1 of the Billboard dance chart, so go figure !!
