Each time I see that flying angel smilie in a message from another person than Liv, it kinda makes me freak for a moment.

In any case, the best recollection of the story of Haystack can be found on a VERY GOOD website dedicated to Martin Hannett (will add that to the links soon hopefully) on which you can find many stories about the early days of New Order and Joy Division, and the link to that particular Haystack story is in the left menu -- select DISCOGRAPHY and then, in the list, "Kevin Hewick and New Order".
