Yeah, Barney wanted to start the third world war :D

interesting to read some comments about that gig from the band itself.

Were you there Marco?

You weren't with another German lad called (I think) Denny were you?

And were dressed in New Order t-shirts picked up at English gigs (New Year 98, Reading 93, etc).

Cheers Allen !

Yeah i was there! But i was alone, all alone by myself... ;)

But Hooky wasn't looking as if he was enyoing the gig as he states in the "Times" article.

He even smashed his six-string bass into his amplifier at the end of the gig :(

I was there too. Was gutted we weren't allowed nearer the front cos they'd filled up the quota stage-front. Tried to bribe two security guards 300Dm to let us through, but they were having none of it! Thankfully ran into a group of Manchester NO fans so there was about 10 of us bouncing around a mile back from the stage when the band finally came on. It was a very bizarre experience.

Mentioned the name Denny as we got talking to a big group of German NO fans when one of them saw me in an Area:One t-shirt.

Allen, just for the record, I suggest you use the NewOrderOnline Codes (NooCodes!) when you enter a URL for everyone's clicking pleasure. You can do both of these:

1 - http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/0,,146-2001286578,00.html

OR

2- The Times' article

The codes are described in the small link next to the smilies link when you post a message.

Seb.
