new order say they had a weird vibe at the castle that parts of WFTSC was recorded. i'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but just thought i'd mention the cure recorded wild mood swings and parts of bloodflowers at the very same place :O

maybe thats why new order had a weird vibe. imagine peter hook sleeping in the same room that was once occupied by Robert Smith or Simon Gallup

What a rip-off. I'm sure New Order was trying to get the same retro-revival media arsekissing that buoyed Cure record sales last year. :evil4:

Yes, but NO's album was far better than the Cure's last album. Then again, this is the paradigm example of what a producer can do to an album. Ift he Cure hadn't used Ross Robinson, the songs would've sounded better - they sounded much better live than on record. I haven't heard WFTSC live but the songs sound great on the CD.
