Something seriously wrong that night (assumin this a few weeks ago you seen em). From the boot, you can hear there is HUGE headroom on the soundsytem, the bloody thing is ticking over(f*ing enormous no doubt, but ticking over).....leaving plenty of room for Barney to get much louder. Also whatever way the mics were setuo, every time he moved his vocal dissapeared.

turn the mic up
put a LIMITER on ALL of them, especially the gruesome twosome at the front.

oh and....
Get a smaller rig and turn the bloody thing up. <<< this is a big thing these days, in the name of quality bands hire insanely oversized rigs and run them at idle. it works to an extent, but if taken too far and/or done poorly you get results like barney whistling people into an early grave.
