Most Remixed Track in living memory?

No more J-E-T Remixes,please.There must be 110 sqillion ways to wrap a shit,but it remains a shit all the boomin same:D ......Seriously this stinker has had some people wasting their efforts on it like it was Temptation or something crazy It is shite innit?

Please Michael stop this. We all now are aware of your opinion of this track. However, no matter how har you try, you are not going to convince those those of us who like it to dislike it.

Perhaps management is a bafoon for picking a choon....or management is a 5 year old girl ..It does seem odd how it has been mega-multiple re-mixed in such a short space of time.I did'nt think it would get more attention from the re-mixers,than seemingly every other NO track ever

well if anything, this proves that U-Mix served its purpose. I chalk it up to the fact that alot of folks are getting into mixing for the first time because of this program. Also the hard core remixers have all the tracks broken out for them on a plate, so they can stick them in cubase or whatever if they don't like the umix interface.

If you stuck Bizarre Love Triangle on a U-Mix at the same time as Jetstream I bet you no one would be mixing JET as much - they might get to it later after BLT has faded on them a bit tho lol.

Its somewhere around 800 or so, right? Has to be the most remixed song in music history.

Most remixed track ever is Billie Jean, simple as that. Even C-R-A-Pstream can't beat that for sheer volume.

what are you all talking about? CONFUSION has been mixed 1 billion squillion times. orginal version, re-recorded version, multiple remixes on Minimal records 12 inch, plus the 2x12 inches that came out a year or two back, armand van helden's "confused koochy", the BLADE file pump panel mix etc etc etc

Well when they release a song with a program so every Tom, Dick, and Harry can remix what do you expect? I'm sure it's being remixed as I type this. Can't help that.

However we can probably do something about the amount of posts dedicated to hating Jetstream...but only if try.

People have to understand that you have to draw the line at remixes somewhere. It gets to a point that a song can be so over-done and tampered with it becomes irrelevant. Jizzstream for example suffers from the ignominy of already being irrelevant before all these pointless remixes came along.

Sometimes there are New Order songs that are so perfect and properly formed that to remix them would be superfluous. Tracks like "Thieves Like Us"/"Lonesome Tonight", "Age OF Consent", "All The Way", "Loveless", "Vanishing Point", "Dream Attack", "Regret" etc (note how most of them come off "Technique"?).

Already some are banging on about wanting to remix "Turn" off the latest album for possible single release. It stands as it is - a perfectly decent album track. Why mess about with it? I get so sick of all these remixes that add absolutely nothing to the song but by the same token take absolutely everything away. It has got to stop, becus it's getting fucking silly.

I read an article a while back (I think regarding AcidPlanet and their remix-competitions), and IIRC, they mention that the most remixed artist (or track, can't recall which) is Björk.
