I hate to spread rumors and I hope this isn't a rumor, but I have heard that NO is planning on coming back to the United States in the fall to do a more thorough tour.

It makes sense that they'd come back when their kids are back in school seeing as how that was one of the reasons for only being here a short time to begin with...

Any thoughts or insight would be much appreciated

Well if they do come back, they better come to Denver!

I highly and seriously doubt that you will see New Order back in the US before the next album will be released...

According to Mr Jarvis (or was it mr Giles?), the "tour list" is set in stone for 2005... no more gigs would be added.

But we never know, it's New Order.. it depends on Bernard Sumner, really...

I'm not meaning to spread a rumor...I heard from a concert promoter that they are possibly coming back. I just wondered if anyone had any further info.:confused2:

Yeah, this was also mentioned on VH1's The Alternative a couple of weeks ago, but as I noted at the time, I was gonna take that information with a very large pillar of salt. I'll only believe it when they're playing live in front of me later this year.

Yes, Eddie Trunk mentioned the Fall U.S. tour on The Alternative just last week, right before they played the Shellshock video. I was surprised to hear that news. I'll believe it when I see it.

Fingers crossed they schedule more US dates soon and continue to promote WFTSC. If they don't, it's easy for to assume they don't care if it tanks.
