Coldplay Crystal rip off??

There's a Coldplay song on their live CD/DVD called 'One I Love' (I think) which sounds to me like a note for note rip off of parts of Crystal. You can even sing along to it "We're like Crystal..."

Has this been discussed before? What do you guys think?

Always thought it sounds more like Echo And The Bunnymen than New Order...

It occurred to me last night that you can sing Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" over Coldplay's "Speed of Sound."

Try it.

Passed by Virgin Store in Myer today and heard one Coldplay track that's a complete melodic rip-off of Computer Love(Kraftwerk). Hopefully the lads from Dusseldorf have been given due respect in the songwriting credits or named as "an influence" somewhere in the liner notes of the new Coldplay CD. If not, go get 'em Ralph & Florian!!

I've skimmed thru an article(in Spin I think) about the Coldplay album and due credit has been paid to Kraftwerk. Now it's up to the Mancunian Posse(AKA New Order) as to whether they feel complimented/slighted by some of Coldplay's work.
