For me it's Martin Hannett

Case for the defence: Chosen Time

Hookys bass has more of the 'live' sound than even when they produce it themselves (Low Life)

And he even manages to get Barneys guitar sounding like it does live.....6 out of tune elastic bands:evil4:

Imagine Hannett's version of Jet Stream:music:

i get the idea that hannet would bring out some pistols if they ever introduced jetstream to him.

I'll take arthur baker, he brought out their experimental side.

Yeh I agree, he'd have Johnny Rotten instead of Ana:clap:

Thats funny when i said pistols, i meant guns. Hannet was know to love his guns. But i think the whole sex pistols thing is funnier.

This is coming from a big jetstream defender.

Arthur Baker used to play on the left for Leeds, hang on, that was Arthur Graham.

Both fat bastards anyway:evil4:

Definitely Hannett. I love the sound of Procession/Egg. It's perfect for New Order. It would be nice to get Hannett produced versions of whole New Order catalogue. Yes i know it's impossible, just a thought.
