The only tracks I didn't see on BBC3 were Regret (bastards would rather cut to the news!!!), WFTSC and BLT. Sound quality on the webcast was pretty poor...very tinny, wishy-washy and God knows where they were taking their feed from, very little audience noise and the instrument levels weren't right. Still, at least they showed the whole set, something BBC3 haven't yet managed despite havign shown some tracks 3 times.

hehehehehehe seen most of the highlights from glasto, got to admit it,50yrs old and can still kick it theys can. we can escuse the panto horse for the quip that ian brown and ian gillespe where in it,and would do anything for money. or as i would rather belive it was a metaphor for ian curtis (flogging a dead horse) OR MAYBE JUST MAYBE ian was actually in it and we have all been led a merrry dance. either way they was ace, just typical new order, all over the place, almost half lost but always found.:thumb:

It's all fucking Ian McCulloch's fault. The Bunnymen played Bring On The Dancing Horses tonight, and it sort of stuck in Bernard's mind. Unlike the lyrics to the songs he wrote!

Terrestrial BBC2 showing highlights now...seem to showing the same stuff as BBC3 did, probably no WFTSC or BLT then.

You know, I was really getting into that at the start and when I saw that melodica I knew it was time for LV and I was so so happy to see that song being played live, and for once it WAS actually live. Then they forget the rest of the gig :( and just go back for WIM. That really was heart wrenching, shame on the BBC.

I think this performance would make a great DVD though, this is Glastonbury after all, and it was just so great seeing them, they actually seemed really into it, even Steve. Such a shame there wasn't a full broadcast on TV, that really made me sad, I was so so so happy for a moment watching them, then comes on Kasabian, and all the happiness is ruined, OH MY GOD... :(

There's never going to be another band like New Order, and remember, this year isn't the end, we've got next year yet :)

From what I heard, the sound quality was brialliant, with the drums sounding very nice indeed, it really was amazing watching that untill they cut it off. This must be released on DVD, and the horse was hillarious.

Watched the Playlouder webcast of Glastonbury. Sound was a bit strange now and then; little keyboard and a lot of bass. In general it was pretty good. Everytime I watch them it seems as if they play these songs for the first time which is great.

I found that on some songs the keyboard was way too high in the mix and on some it was way too low. Same with Barney's vocals, although they were usually too low.

Them not playing BM - a song I actually LIKE dammit - was offset by the DJ in the local playing playing all seven and a half of it when I requested it...

How are you achieving the download? ( this is gonna invlove windows isn't it :) )

TBH, I think those of us who were watching live all just got fooked off by the messing around the beeb were doing. I myself lost interest when I realised I shoulda been on the web feed all along. Oh, and having listenned to the webnix a bit now, I definitely think it's split off at the monitor desk....hence no fx or anything and the odd levels (not that THIS bassplayer is complaining at the hookyfest). Guess Auntie nicked all the best outputs :)

Wasted the batteries in my remote flicking through all the BBC digital channels trying to find New Order - the BBC's coverage is an absolute disgrace - its they same every year. Managed to see most of the New Order set and it wasn't too bad. Nice to see Steve smiling, Peter in full flow and Bernard giving it his all. The only thing that looked dodgey was Phil Cunninghams sunglasses  Regarding Keith Allen and the horse, well it made me laugh :D . Does anyone know if this was all pre-arranged or not, (the horse bit)
