let's suppose that our opinions are noted, what extra's would you want to see on the next or future DVD releases?
How about the Barcelona 84 gig in full?

Rock Around The Clock.
Celebration 81 - Cos my copy is not the greatest & Whistle Test 85 - Cos it's probably the best they've ever played live on TV....Plus Henry from Neighbours is in the front row.

A man of sense.
I'd just like to see details of a 'secret' gig - open only to nool & wim members:D
that would be nice![]()
A concert from 1980-1989, cuz I have never seen footage from such a gig...preferably one with This Time of Night, Shellshock, Sooner Than You Think, Perfect Kiss, True Faith, All Day Long, 586 or Face Up on it.
Some cool Easter Eggs, etc. ![]()

that era was missed be me too. would be fantastic to see footage.
I'd like to see a good compilation of early TV appearances. If it wasn't for a certain Scotsman,
I wouldn't have any of those, even on video - I only got a VCR in 1989!
Considering the amount of recording space on a DVD, I'd say a couple of gigs - one old, one new, and a compilation of TV appearances with the band's comments on each one. Yes, that would make me smile for a week or so.

Well, they could release the Academy video over here, finally.
Are there any easter eggs on the current DVDs , 316 or 511? I'm terrible with ees, I never find them.

Copyright to Academy is owned by the International Aids Day charity so it would surely cost Norder to put this footage on anything? Such a release would then become unlikely.
As much as I would like to see the DVDs of Academy, preference would be given to material that was hitherto unavailable officialy such as the TV appearances from 'Celebration' onwards with special mention to Dutch TV's Veronica's Countdown featuring a memorably side splitting interview.
Full-length version of "The NO Show," which was featured as snippets towards the beginning and throughout A NewOrderStory documentary. Anyone have it?
I love it when Gillian is asked to describe the Movement album cover, and all she says is "Blue." I love her! She continues with "black letters" when prompted to elaborate. Oh, and how didn't anyone know their one and only UK No. 1 single???
Well heres my idea, even though i think each band member would have to be noticeably trashed to even consider doing this:
Write down the name of every new order gig of their entire career on a separate piece of paper, throw them in a big box, shake it around for a good 20 minutes, and just pull out 5, and make them extra's. The point is to get something that is the 'antithesis' of "finsbury park," a set of concerts that have strange, unpredictable setlists and moods. This will never happen in a thousand years, but its a great thought to entertain.

I see, thanks for the info. Still learning about them, even after all of these years.

There's no such thing. Those snippets were filmed specifically for the documentary.
A twenty-minute secret clip of a hidden camera filming Bernard eating out of a KFC bucket backstage, sweating and cursing.
