I was going to add Ian, but I thought that was a bit sad. I was going to add Gillian, but it's inappropriate to comment on the age of a lady.
As for the others, who's looking ropiest?
I think Steve looks almost the same as he did 25 years ago - I reckon that Gillian's new job is to go up into the attic and dust off Steve's picture...
Well, Barney's a bit tubby, I have said Hooky but he looks much better than he did two years ago, must be the new diet of his.
Definently Barney, but he has been looking better lately. Or atleast thats what it looks like to me.
Barney and Hooky looked pretty knackered and portly, but Barney is the winner. I agree, time has been kindest to Steve.
When you look at photo's from the 80s and compare them to 2005 it's pretty shocking...
You'd probably get the same effect if you compared the average girth of a 1980's mosher to the average girth of a 2005 mosher...
At least Ian got away without having to battle middle age spread...

I don't know which Hooky everyone else has seen of late. Yes, he looks a bit craggy in the face, but he's as svelte as you like. One NOOLer was in the Audley saying how he goes to the same gym as Hooky and the Hookmeiser wandered out the other day with his shirt off sporting a full six-pack. Think Hooky and Barney's problem is that they're both so short. Don't carry weight that well when you're little, do you? First time I saw Barney up close I was about 16 at an ACR gig and I thought he looked a right little tubster. Check out any pic of him from the mid 80's though and you wouldn't agree from photographic evidence. But all I remember is: short, fat.

Hooky has definitely been on a clean-up and fitness push these last two or three years. He's looking a lot slimmer and fitter.

Right, couldn't believe how slim he looked, just needs a haircut and it's back to the early 80's for him ;)
But as for Barney, the less said the better 
Barney looked under his age most of his life; it's finally caught up to him.

I really hope the guys dont easedrop in these forums. If so many people talked about my apperance, i would become very self conscious.Maybe we should stop.
That being said it is quite amazing comparing how they look now to the 80's. Barney always look the youngest of the bunch. Now he looks the oldest. The last guy i expected to become portly.
Barney could become an anti-drug poster boy.
Physically Barney, though most of that was since he was pouring sweat and pulling his ankle when I saw him. In other terms i'd say Steve as he doesn't very much look like he's enjoying himself in the band anymore.
Everyone looks their age at some point. Look at pics of yourselves 15 years ago and tell me what you think? Anyway, who cares? I was at the Hammerstein show, and they were awesome.....I, for one though, look much better than I did 15 years ago.:)
C'mon, Hooky doesn't look 50 years old! As a matter of fact, none of them does...

Looks like Hooky's one of those guys whose looks improve with age. Or maybe it's the fitness push.

Life is like a carousel, as it goes up and down. Bernard used to look younger than the others in the Joy Division days and now the situation reversed completely. He doesn't look too bad for someone nearly 50 years old though.
Unless people are some monster that never ages, it would be pretty hard to look 18 when a person is 50. (That is an exaggeration, I know that.) But compared to my parents friends, some of which who are in their late 40s, almost pushing 50, all of the members of New Order look pretty good for their age. I know Barney doesn't looks as young as he used to in the 80s, but eventually everybody gets older and I don't think he looks like he's pushing 50. :)
I'm going to say Bongo. He's suddenly looking very old & craggy, and that grey stubble. Our lads look quite good in comparison considering they are a few years older.

Bongo also looks very much like he's had hairplugs installed; something I'm confident NO members would never resort to!

Barney is showing more their age but is looking very good for 49 years old. He’s a bit chubby and looks more now with Barney Rubble than ever.
Hooky looks younger now than 8 years ago with Potts in Monaco.
Hooky looked pretty knacked to me last night. Seen him up real close at Werchter (see Werchter thread) but in fairness, what d'you expect? They're nearly fifty and they look just fine for their age.
That's fair enough Geri - they all look good for late 40's - but what the hell has Phil been on - he looks as old as the others, but is at least 15 years younger... I still think Steve looks almost the same as he did 20 years ago... Grecian 2000 anyone?
Yes, Barney looks awful but they do all look better than my parents and all my friends' parents...except my bestfriend's mum who is early 50s and looks better than me in a pair of low riders!

Steve looks a bit botox'd to me...and while Barney's looks have caught up with his age somewhat he still looks pretty good to me!
but I have had a bit too much to drink...
