Sounds like we need a Joy Division singles DVD...
Or... Maybe... A limited edition extra disc with key Joy Div single videos ala the Retro extra...
I predict a riot...

I'm on it...
I feel those are missing
- Ceremony (live)
- In A Lonely Place (live)
- Your Silent Face (live) - From A Factory Outing
- Blue Monday 83
- Blue Monday-95
- World (Perfecto Remix version)
What else?
At least they will tell me why it's not there... maybe they don't own the rights to the Factory movies?!?!
Weren't there video's for True Faith-94 and Round & Round-94 from the Best Of Video collection or were these the originals.
Me thinks there's only one vid for each of TF, & R&R except for R&R Patti, which should be on the dvd.
the Video for True Faith 94 is just the regular TF Video with clips of other NO video's Cut in (BM88, TPK, ETC..) its really pretty useless
ant wrote: have never seen the 83 and 95 versions of BM video - can anyone tell me what happens in them?
i havent seen BM 83, the 95 one if i am thinking of the right video is all computer generated, gets kind of boring Fast
I was just going to start a topic about where I could find that performance of 'Regret' that they did on a beach that you see a bit of at the end of NO Story but I assume it's the 'Baywatch' thing? If so, my day just got a whole lot better.
PS) This DVD is going to rule. I don't care what's missing.
So, no videos ever done for Thieves Like Us or Subculture then?? Also wonder if the "4th" single from 'WFTSC' will be on there... "Guilt Is A Useless Emotion", perhaps??

I thought that was Spooky's video?

Thats the video for Spooky...
Right, went onto the Hackintosh, which has RealPlayer on it. The Perfecto video seems pretty much identical to me.

It is identical... but it uses the Perfecto Edit instead of the single version.
In fact I was in shock when I saw the video on NewOrderStory with the single version, because here they always played the one with the Perfecto Remix...
exellent ,ive been waiting for a dvd collection like this for years and im well pleased its coming out along with the live stuff as well.
spotnik was right when he said we are being spoiled and dont it feel good eh
.
cant belive that with a collection like this that some are moaning for more
new order never give you a full plate and by now id have thought that most in ere would have known that.
Seems the deadlines are already passed for the tracklisting and artwork ![]()
So we probably won't have the missing videos, but I know the US management is trying to see what can be done. Don't hold your breath though...

If anyone's interested, here's a mini-bio of the guy doing the clip for Ceremony - check out the title of his debut film; the plot thickens.....

Yeah, quite disappointing not to have the original Blue Monday video. That one is classic! I don't find it boring at all... At the time, it was very original and in some way, it's a markup of the period it was done. Makes it interesting from an historical standpoint... besides, the images fit very well to the music and lyrics I think !
I don't like the 1995 video all that much but, eh, if you want the collection to be complete then it has to be on it.
Ditto for the Perfecto Mix version of World, which makes the video far better to watch, and also the Special Circumstance Mix video of Crystal, which nobody mentionned yet.
So they should probably add a bonus DVD and just put a sticker on the package to make up for it.

There are 2 videos of Crystal, so I expect the other to be the "special circumstance mix" so... Bedrock..

Mal lu il faut croire, je pensais que tu disais qu'il était pas sur le DVD.... et le "Special Circumstance Mix" que je sache, c'est le Bedrock Edit de Crystal.
Enfin, c'est certainement "Crystal – Gina Birch version"..
I am pleased to see RUN finally on DVD. Wonder if it's the LP version or one of the other 3 versions. ![]()
1)Is the video on the "videos" being remastered for the utmost best quality?
2)Will they include videos from 'Electronic' as easter eggs?
