Seems Blue Monday (original) and Blue Monday-95 are the only ones left out, and the "perfecto" version of World.

A bit sad, it would have been complete with those..

Yes! That is very disappointing. I actually love the original BM video.

Now that must be a first... David posted it on here before I did!

Just got home and saw the mail ;)

I merged the threads...

Seems like almost everyone's dream came true - the "comlpete" video anthology. Well I would also suggest, as extras, a small collection of rare live performances: EGG from 1981, Temptation from 1982, something from 1984 BBC special, - well something like that. It'd be perfect.:thumb:

Can't believe they are leaving off the original Blue Monday video - arse. Someone badger them into putting it on!

It's not complet without the original BM... They'll never do anything perfect

And the reason for leaving off the original "Blue Monday" video is?

Any ideas how we can pressure Rhino to put it on before it gets pressed? A New Order video compilation without the original "Blue Monday"...

Rhino? Is it only going to be Region 1 then?

All my PC's gracefully ignore region coding (and encryption), but my main players don't, and I would prefer to see it in 32" flat widescreen without a PC doing the decoding...

Whats the video for the Perfecto World?

So do we know yet if this an American only release, or a proper Warner Music and rest of the world release?

We must be happy we'll finally have the very most of the New Order videos, and two brand new ones! :thumb: BUT please tell me I'll be able to play it on my DVD player... it'll be Region 0, just like the LTM DVDs, right? Eh?! RRRight??!! PLEASE!!! :D

Typical NO to do quite well but drop a bollock in the middle. The Happy One, the original BM video and the old 'live' video for EGG are missing. Though they could make The Happy One into a menu screen, they probably won't.

I wonder when they're sticking out A-slightly-updated-NewOrderStory, PFOD, Academy, and (hopefully) Montruex out eh?

I guess the executive producers found it too much to have THREE BMs on one collection DVD :D

By the way, the first BM was not really official, was it? I always thought it was a kind of experiment and nothing more. Tell me who actually SAW it on TV back in 1983? :evil4:

Mick, it's easier and cheaper to get a good scanning DVD-player. I've got JVC - it's SUPPOSED to read only American DVDs but it reads also European discs without problems. So once you'll get one - there won't be no region boundaries for you :) Or take Sanyo - may sound crap but reads almost everything :)

I'm on it...

I feel those are missing

  • Ceremony (live)
  • In A Lonely Place (live)
  • Your Silent Face (live) - From A Factory Outing
  • Blue Monday 83
  • Blue Monday-95
  • World (Perfecto Remix version)

What else?

At least they will tell me why it's not there... maybe they don't own the rights to the Factory movies?!?!

Whats the video for the Perfecto World?

The project was initiated by Rhino, but will be picked by UK as well, so Region 2 DVDs will be available (probably through Warner Music Vision)

The "Baywatch" Regret is the only take from TV, and there is no live video at all..

EGG belongs to LTM I guess...

Me thinks there's only one vid for each of TF, & R&R except for R&R Patti, which should be on the dvd.

I don't see why EGG live should be on it (already out anyway), nor the happy one (not a single). Or your silent face - live (also not a single).

They tend to seperate both groups in such compilations.
