great leap forwards is top - like the live versions of bragg songs where he changes/updates the words best...

I absolutely despise Queen apart from "Another one bites the dust" top bass line, oh and that rugby players song worked well in Waynes world.

Like "Bestiality" for instance? He did that one once and it was a fucking scream!! And "Walk Away renee" - which he seems to come up with a new narrative each time he does it live!

Can't believe nobody here has even mentioned those Krautrock legends CAN (Michael Karoli passed away last November, sadly, how many of you knew that?). Their "Halleluwjah" is an absolute CLASSIC! and without it Happy Mondays would never have been able to rip it off and have the nerve to also title it the same! Think about it!

Anyway, a few other great songs are: CAN - Mother Sky Revolting Cocks - Beers Steers and Queers Revolting Cocks - Butcher Flowers Woman! The Flaming Lips - Race For The Prize The Flaming Lips - Slow Nerve action Section 25 - Dirty Disco Laugh - Sensation No. 1 ACR - Blown Away ACR - Flight Breeders - Cannonball Dawn Of The Replicants - Cocaine On The Catwalk The Stranglers - Something Better Change ROC - Excised
