Was trawling the depths for bargains upstairs at the Soul and Dance branch of MVE at Notting Hill Gate (in London, duh) last week and stumbled across a four-track promo CD from the Crystal Method for their forthcoming mix that includes their version of BLT.
There were about ten other identical CDs in there as of Wednesday if there are any London Nool-types who fancy investing a princely 50p to hear it. Be warned - it mixes out of a Doors remix and into a Crystal Method track.
I thought it was ok though - fairly sympathetic (eg Hooky's bassline intact and Barney's vocals high in the mix) with a Stanton Warriors/Evil Nine-esque breakbeat keeping things ticking over... Alright if you like that kind of thing.
