Digital - Friday 8th July

Hi does any one know how long this goes on for cos it says a dj til 2am an i was worried about missin the last train. Also it says on flyer a tribute to joy division will they play new order songs to. Who else is goin.............

I'm going and there's a thread about this already.

the last tribute band who played there did 9.45-10.40 and 10.55-11.55 (approx.) - then DJ til 2am with new wave/electrock tunes. doors open 8.30. and I'm under the impression they'll by dividing the sets into songs by a band starting with N and the more familiar JD fare.

Indeed. The first set will contain something old, something new, all of it borrowed and none of it blue! We'll be doing a mixed set of NO and JD for the first set, roughly half and half (only one of the NO ones has ever been played before by us, and we will be playing some before New Order do!), whereas the second set will be entirely made up of JD numbers, including several we've never played live before. A total of 30 songs in all, some with words, some without. Plenty of synths, singing bass players in places, Elvis covers, tequila, sweet sixteen, open asylums and all that jazz.

Hint to those who don't always get to gigs early, there will be an identity parade right at the start!

As far as I'm concerned, as long as everyone's fit and able then I think it should go on. I'll be fucked if I'm going to be dictated to by a bunch of cowardly little shits...

Having been in touch with all the band and having had a chat with the promoter, I am pleased to announce that the show goes on.

I think it's near Camden. It's on the Jubilee Line.

It's a bit west of Camden - Jubilee line goes to Kilburn and it's a short way down Kilburn High Road...

I misread some article and thought QOTSA were playing tonight. I hope to still be at Digital tonight, providing the tube can get me there.

So is it still on? Does anyone care? Who's buying my drinks? Hahaha. There must be more replies about the Digital gig.

I printed off the flyer I'm going drinking beforehand and I'll be wearing a black JD shirt with the Unknown Pleasures logo on either side, I have a stupid hair cut too. About 6ft.

And I thought the singer was called Mike Binoche? Or am I confusing him with the band?
