What does WRM from intro to Confusion 87 mean?

This has always bothered me. The vocader voice "W...W....W..R..M" at start of Confusion from Substance album.

What does it mean or what significance does it have?

WWRL is the call sign of an NYC radio station. the reason there are 3 'w's is because of the scratching of the record. WWRL now plays R&B or jazz, i believe.

the FAQ states that it's WWWRL, but the station is actually WWRL.

This does remind me - the FAQ page - which needs updating according to Nick, is not as accessable as it probably should be. The link comes up on the secondary navigation just below the primary ones - e.g. try to reply to a thread & there it is. But IMO it should be in the primary navigation - or as a seperate click at the bottom of each page. I know that it would cut out a lot of unnecessary threads if it was more obveous - but then we couldn't slag each other off for asking the FAQs:D

Yep - FAQ's should be flagged as one of the headline bars on the homepage.

Absolutely agree. It's so embarassing when people keep going on about what a great 'dance track' / 'potential single' GUILT is; only to watch such people getting shot down in a fiery inferno of homophobia and anti-Houseism mania...
