From billboard:

New Order is finishing up summer touring in support of its new Warner Bros. album, “Waiting for the Sirens' Call.” Bassist Peter Hook told Billboard.com this spring that the band has enough leftover material, such as the track “Stay With Me,” to form the bulk of another new album, although no release date has been penciled in.

“We did actually sit there facing each other with absolutely nothing,” Hook recalls of the start of the “Sirens' Call” sessions. “It was quite an incredible moment, actually. Because now, two-and-a-half years later, with an album finished and eight songs ready for the next album, which is probably the most prolific we've ever been, you can't even imagine for one minute what it was like to sit there with nothing.”

In one of the interviews with Hook and Morris, there was some mention of a song Morris felt was the best new one in his opinion...I don't recall the name of it.

When they start covering Shakespeare's Sister, you gotta wonder if it's not time to get out.

Actually, "Stay With Me" sounds like a working title like "Road to Ruin." I'm sure the actual song will be called something like "What Do You Want From Me?" or "What Have I Done to Deserve This?"

The chorus has been revealed!

Stay with me,In this foreign land,It's not how it used to be,You are so good for me,Just like the ocean or the sea,You're so good for a man like me,About the birds & the beesIn-ger-land!

Wonder if the cap's been doffed in the direction of this excellent song by Rod the Mod and The Faces in the early 70's? :D

There's an Erasure song (a single actually) called Stay With Me as well. One feels that it's a univesal theme...

C'mon Babe, cut me some slack here!

Sure it was 'Stay' but the chorus was "Stay with me" and I was using a touch of creative license...

Tough crowd. ;)

Nice to know DC had been following their career. I'm not ashamed to tell I was the proud owner of their debut album "Sacred Heart", they even had a song called Red Rocket on it!

Have you heard these so-called new tracks and would you be willing to vouch for their authenticity, or are you pulling our collective leg?
