What's your favorite NO song to belt out in the shower, car?

For me, there's a two way tie.

From the old, it would have to be Subculture. Catchy tune, easy to sing lyrics.

From the new, it would be Rock The Shack. Catchy tune, easy to sing lyrics. :)

What say y'all?

I got electrocuted last time I took my stereo into the shower. Gave a whole new meaning to the "shot right through with a bolt of blue" bit from BLT I can tell yer. :D

The latest one I find myself putting on while I shave is Sooner Than You Think from Saturday Live session 84 - just that one track over and over:nod:

Sorry, but singing in the shower is just for gimps. My job is an environmental noise pollution officer and i should know - been called to a flat once wherea young couple with a sprog were up in arms about their neighbour doing just that every single day (singing in the shower - very loudly and badly) - the hapless sufferers nearly threatened the guy with physical violence. Not nice.

in the shower i usually do bizzare love triangle or oddly find myself doing the dance to the radio part of transmission. in the car lately ive been doing crystal and someone like you. i can sing the out of tune part out of tune also so its easy.

Usually it's a toss-up btw Temptation and LWTUA, depending on my mood. I don't really sing in the shower, I'm more likely to break into song on the highway during the long drive in the mornings to school. I usually pause when another car draws near, unless I want them to think I'm crazy :D:D:D:D:D:D

I'll purposely wait until I pull up next to a youngster in one of those "hot rod" Civics with 13" wheels yet have a "NOS" sticker on the back...you know the type...anyway, I'll roll down the windows and start singing RTS and wait for the reaction. Always funny.....

Side note: the import hot rod scene is cool. It's the posers that piss everybody off.....

I think he's referring to this stickers I've seen on "trendy" people's cars, some configuration of two or three letters meant to stand for some phrase (at least that's my understanding). If he's not referring to that, well, I got nothing...

Neil-

"NOS" is the trade name for a manufacturer of automotive nitros oxide products. These products are primarily used in drag racing, but do find their way onto the street.

The whole "NOS" thing is like putting a red "R" on your Civic or Integra or Sentra when it may or may NOT belong. Just an image thing....

The red "R" thing started with the Nissan Skyline GT "R". A truly bad-ass rig!

For the last few days I've been singing Your Silent Face in the shower. With a lot of 'whoops'.

Got to try Your Silent Fart in my bath. With a lot of 'whoops I did it again'.

Niel,

I love the GTI. It's what showed people on these shores that a compact vehicle could be loads of fun.

They had a funny advert in the late '80's. It was some German guys singing the Beach Boys classic "Little GTO". But, instead of "GTO", they inserted "GTI". I'd never heard California beach harmony sung in German. :)
