I have to say that this rates as one of the best polls ever to have appeared on NOOL. Well done Mr Waters. :thumb:

O. MI. GOD. It's a positive comment! :faint:

Although your POV will probably alter when I emigrate to NZ...:uhoh:

You should get an extra 5 points for designing your own NEWorder necklace:thumb:

You are right! No one else has one (as far as I know). I should get even more points for the fact my necklace has brushed Barney's armpit ;)

'Smell of Barney's armpit' - the new perfumed jewelery - exclusively by Ness! hmmm - not sure that would be a big seller:rofl:

So that's Barney & Hooky - have you got near Steve & Phil yet?

27- It´s not too bad for a guy from a little town in Spain. Only two gigs (84- 05)

 And it's all your fookin fault! 59 which makes me the saddest individual on here so far :skeptic: I notice Jarvo, Johnny Giles, DoN, Old Blue and JT amongst others havnae put their scores up yet though! The only points I lost out on were moderating another site or being able to name the last 3 setlists off the top of my head. I am online daily through work, but that doesnae excuse me logging on over the weekends, the missus likes a good moan about how obsessed I am and I have got loads of my mates into the band - several of whom have attended gigs and pish ups.

In my defence - Can I just say I've met a lot more sadder NOOL'ers than masel at gigs and meet ups though :thumb:

Yeah but Shug, they don't moderate any forum here, so you're 5 points ahead of them anywas :evil4:

32 for me, thought you should get a point for each person converted to NO, still wouldn't have brought the score up above 40 though, what about points for anoying your wife spending too much time on NOOL, should be at least 5 points for that.

Palmerston North is beautiful, one of my favourite places in N.Z. I have lots of great memories visiting my cousins there years ago, and it's where i first heard LWTUA and Atmosphere (thankyou cousin Jason).

18 or maybe 19 points (not sure, but think I have a single from the Other Two)… I deserve more than that !!! :nonono: so I won't vote, no way ! :nonono:

21 points. I have much progress to do to deserve their music as a gift.

Higher than i predicted! i dont know whether thats a good or a bad thing!?!

Only 21?? I thought I would score higher. Ive got every New Order album release except WFTSC. Even got some on LP and CD. And I got WIM on 12 inch and CD single (does that count against me?). I think I know every song of by heart (except anything off Movement). I guess Im let down by only seeing the band once (which I know is piss poor since Ive been a fan since '87) and not buying every single in every format possible.

Its a shame no points were awarded for being in a band and playing a JD/NO cover.

Don't fret - you still fall into the 'fanatic' zone.

Quite right - I should have awarded 5 points for being in a NO band that does NO related cover songs... sorry... that gives you 26 though.

Buy a few more singles and you'd probably move up a ranking...

Don't stress about not seeing them live. I've been a fan since 86 and have only seen them twice, mainly as I didn't want to pushed about whilst trying to adore my musical idols...

:viking:

I've got an M.Sc. in Social Research Methods which obviously didn't help me that much, although my omissions could be justified on the basis that this could be seen as a pilot questionairre...

Al Jarvis wrote: Why does moderating NOOL give you 5 points? :skeptic:

yeah! some people don't have time to do that sort of thing, even though they are totally in love with the music...i scored 28, but i feel that i deserve "total fanatic" status.

Yes, agreed...I've made my feelings known on polls, but I scared myself by scoring 43 or so!

Crap...I was next to Hooky during the SF DJ gig...I guess that would count? 48??!??!

Not likely Shug!

Anyway, there's worse things to be addicted to than NO... not that our wives would agree...

You should have tried the old male trick:

don't tell her the real reason behind anything you do!:D

In this particular case, I just mentioned to her how Pedro ("Peter" in portuguese...) sounded nice, and bingo!
