Safe to say Bernard isn't quite sober there. Something similar has happened before though. I recently heard a live version of Weirdo from 87 and at the end Bernard just shouts the lyrics similar to what he's doing in Krafty here.

You almost got me a heart attack mate! Seldom I have laughed so hard! I was just thinking... it's not that noisy, is it? When Barney just went totally nuts:

The feeling I get is that he's just fed and bored so all of a sudden has a random outburst. Cause Krafty's quite a boring one to sing actually, doesn't consist of many notes, doesnt havee much of a change in melody, pretty straight.

Yeah, he just sounds fed up to me, had enough.

Just listening to it again...wondering if Barney did it for a daft bet with Steve,or did he just fancy punkin it up?..I love it when he does narked singing..he makes it sound like he is properly fucked off..If he is or not, I dunno..but this will go down as a memorable performance for me,I love it when Barney does this shit,and this is a classic.I have no doubt he is totally RAJED..

Wow....that kinda scared me. I don't think it's good for his throat to sing like that, though. In my opinion, his voice is so I don't know, gentle and sweet(That's what I think, at least) and it just sounds so odd to hear him screaming out of tune. On the parts where he's screaming, he sounds like a teenage boy having a temper tantrum. On the other parts, though, you can barely hear him.

It's a pity Hooky can't enjoy moments like these. He did it in the early 80s, but I guess he has softened a bit since then. Barney, on the other hand, who would look as the most quiet of the two, is still capable of hilarious performances like this, which the 99% of the audience find extremely funny. I think it's even better than the 87 Weirdo (never thought I'd say this), because it's even wilder, the slower rhythm allows Barney to scream with even more power...

My favorite Barney screams were those of Denial live around 1982. It doesn't get much teen skinhead angst-erbation than that: "TIME HAS WORKED SO WELL UPON US INSIDE MY SOOOOUUUUUUULL! WOO"

I dont think it is a good song anyway and to be honest it should not have been on the recent setlist. They should have stuck with "Hey now what you doing"instead. They boomed it out loud and proud at Coachella when they were fresh at the start of there Festival Fest.And it realy did sound very good.

Dawn was at Oxegen too; was she not at all UK and Ireland dates (not that there were many more...)
