No idea; But it's two thumb rings and two 'ring' finger rings; four in total; all the same design, that he's been wearing for about 5 years...
There must be a reason...
I started wearing a thumb ring about 5 years ago as well; I told myself it's my divorce ring (as that's when I got divorced); maybe Hooky has a similar excuse???

Perhaps it is no ring. He just put his finger into sth. (bottleneck or sth. else), got stuck and didn't get it out until today. Then he went to a jeweller or someone else to make that thing look like a ring...
maybe he just likes to wear rings? i haven't any stories behind why i wear them, maybe he's the same way.
