Not sure if this has been mentioned before (I've no idea how to search these forums) but on uknova there is a torrent uploaded of various items from Stub TV which was a long forgotten but excellent 'indie' music show in the UK in the 90s. Anyhow part of the upload is an intervew with New Order in their Top of the Pops dressing room just before they go on and do 'Round and Round'. There's also footage of that.

You have to register to download on the site but it's free. www.uknova.com and the precise URL is here.

The interview is actually quite hilarious.

Just been looking through the rest of the Snub stuff I mention in the top posting. Does anyone have a list of New Order members in other bands' videos? Well in Snub.session-01.avi seems to be me Barney is sticking a finger in his ear during Wire's Eardrum Buzz. So have to add that to the list. That's at 45min and 17 seconds in. Only on for about 1/4 of a second though. Never spotted that before.

The Snub interview was aired in March or April 89, my database for TV stuff is on my other computer. It includes the famous Barney putdown of "Bongo" from U2 and Hooky and Steve joining in the baiting of U2 recording a video at Red Rocks.

Dunno how many other people's vids they've been in, but the funniest has to be Tom Watts (Lofty from Eastenders) version of Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues, the video featured Barney, Steve & Gillian and members of The Fall, at one point Barney falls asleep on the couch and just behind him you have Steve and Gillian dancing along. Bizarre, very bizarre!

Yeah in the TOTP performance for Round and Round which is part of this download you can see a Mac SE (I presume) sat on a trolley behind Gillian. Kinda looks quite neat oddly enough after all these years.

That was the APB interview from 88, which also saw Barney in Brown Cordettes, Hooky scrambling about on his bike and the famous "Gay Disco" quote from Rob in the Hac while the band are being interviewed :thumb:

I'm sad :D
