I think Eldritch needs them back badly. Here's a picture of him at the first Sisters gig of 2005:

There's nothing more embarassing than an aging Goth.

Krafty, just because the lyrics make me want to shove earwax back into my ears. I like hearing "True Faith" and all, just because it's my favorite song, but they could drop it if they're going to continue playing the current version. A lot of the old songs need to be updated, as most of the time I can't tell what year I'm listening to when live songs pop up on winamp. Some of them haven't sounded good since '87.

They're not that bad. Au contraire, I think they're life affirming. Which is what I especially admire about W.F.T.S.C

glad to see Run Wild is winning this by a mile, it's shite (and I don't think it's any better live)

Fair play to Krafty, it does seem to get the kids rocking at gigs. Took a vid of the audience at T on me phone and it really kicked off there, then it really kicked it off in Brittany much more so than Crystal or Regret which had just preceded it. Guess people who ain't familiar with the Order's output would take to Krafty more instantly cos it's got a [ahem] 'nice beat'?

Sirens, conversely, has been utterly shite live, imo. (Though it's a much better song on vinyl).

Had to go with the flow and vote Run Wild on this one though.

Very hard to decide this...

I've gone for Regret though- doesn't have as much emotional impact compared to the rest...

hhmm...okay, I will give that to Krafty, as I do like the music. That's odd though...I'd think "Crystal" would be better at getting people to dance.

Run Wild, too.

It's s**t. Simple really.

I agree with Jed though - if they're going to continue playing JD songs, then stop the whoops, the C'mons, etc. It's not only embarrassing, crass and ugly to hear, but it spoils classic tracks and is likely to put people off buying the back catalogue.

So, New Order, think of it this way:

For every crap whoop and c'mon you lose a percentage of each CD sale...

Stop doing it and you might recoup some of the losses on your other ill-advised ideas

maybe Barney's 'dance' but it's a close thing.

Wish for 2006: 1.Gillian to kick Phil out of the band. 2.Eldritch reform original Sisters.

You really want Ben "made Richey Edwards sound like Steve Vai" Gunn back in the band Pete? Give me the late 84 line-up any day, with Gary Marx and Wayne Pussy, Lurch, the Doktor and Spiggy's boss.

As for Phillian and Gill, there's nowt between 'em in terms of what they bring to the live setting. Get 'em both on stage and take the guitar off Barney!

Run wild. I enjoy the album version, but live itis just too rocky. Maybe they use to slow down the pace a little bit. Sort of an interlude.

Er, it IS the interlude in the Copyrighted-New-Order-Slow-Section, mid gig, surely?!

Less Joy Division, more New Order.

It might've been speeded up but it's still definitely the 'slow one' mid-set.

Replaced, thankfully, by Atmosphere and Your Silent Face, on rotation, for the later gigs.

Run Wild, as there are around 25 other songs I would wish to see in its place.

Followed by Regret, Crystal, Krafty and whatever else from WFTSC
