I normally lurk but rarely contribute to this site but I found this version of BM on a recent album that I got sent.

Jam X + De Leon Feat. Bernard Sumner - Blue Monday (Original Mix)

BlueMondayOriginalMix.mp3

It was released on a album called:

Black Magic Hard Trance Anthems Vol

I’ll host it on my free ISP web space for a couple of days.

No more bloody BM remixes!!!!!!

They could do a triple CD Anthology of BM... and no, that's not a good idea!!!!!!!

:ban:

It's not like they haven't got other songs that are sparse on the remix front that could be targetted for a remix...

I'm not entirely sure that this remix would have been commissioned by the band.

The thing that intereted me was the use of the original 83 mix.

No more remixes of Blue Monday if it isn´t done by No themselves, please !

if you dont want to hear another BM remix...then don't listen to it...why waste time griping?

Thanks for posting/hosting this...it gives others who are interested another mix and is a contribution to the board.

I like the mix! Sounds good on the stereo and has more of a modernized sound. Cheers! :thumb:

I've just been listening to that! I like it.Like the Hardfloor Mix before it,it does give a radio hammered song a whole new lease of life. And it's well edited in all the best bits of the song into a nice tidy edit.

i wonder if that version was a preliminary mix before they did this one:

new order vs jamx & deleon - blue monday(2005 remix) 7:05

i think its a decent mix..

look for: retro:remixed VOLUME 2 from hi-bias label, at http://www.hibias.ca

or maybe they were commissioned for more..
