This is an important update (hoping that anyone is interested):
I've received a kind offer from someone willing to do the recording the CD
from the tape, but I have to forward to the forum some bits of what I've just
written to him.
I've just made a copy of the Turin radio tape and of course meanwhile I've
heard it.
I'm rather disappointed though I know I shouldn't expect more and I'm still
really happy to have it.
I understand that this bootleg could be of no interest if not for very
hardcore fans and of course for those of us who were there.
In brief, sound quality is not so good (some radio and tape noise, low
volume etc.), even for a taped radio broadcast, many songs are missing (yes,
including EGG!), the stupid DJ talks every two
songs and LWTUA is broken in two segments by the end of Side A. And the
setlist order is not respected. Overall should be 50 minutes.
More importantly A LOT of audio editing should be made on this tape and I'd
like to know if you can and want to do it before doing the CD. We won't have
the perfect bootleg, but the quality of this recording can be much, much
improved with some audio editing (and EGG can be added from the MP3 surfaced
on the web) so I'd need to know if you wish to do it or if you can recommend
anyone else who can do it.
I'll send the original recording to the one who'll do the audio editing
because I think I have some problems with my copy (even lower volume on Side
B, and maybe slightly faster speed).
Please save this info for when you'll do the job, if you wish (if you don't
I'll copy this to that kind soul who will want to do it, as I'm not really
able to touch any audio editing software... I know the best thing would be
the one who has the whole bootleg shares it but apparently it's not going to
happen, I don't know why, but it hasn't happened so far...):

I'm sorry, this is what we have.
To add insult to injury, the track list must be re-ordered.
We can also add the MP3 file of EGG which was available on
NewOrderOnline.com
Of course I haven't recorded it on the tape as we already have it in digital
format (I would be amazed if you don't have it, but no problem I can send it
to you via E Mail)... also there's space on the tape to add it if we wish
anyway...
That file has a good quality and will enhance the bootleg.

With a very hard work we can have a nearly decent CD to hear some of the
best tracks from the concert, it's more like a compilation of a radio
broadcast of the concert than a proper bootleg, but better than nothing...
[...]
At the moment sending copies of the tape as it is to anyone else would be
rather useless (also because apparently my tape recorder doesn't work well
as it used to be last time I used it years ago).
I just want to send the master recording to the one who'll do the editing...
the others will have the edited CD.
...Of course here I add what I forgot: if nobody will do the audio editing
he'll do the CD and it will always be better than tape copies... I'm
listening to a copy made from a copy and I'm now absolutely sure copies come
with faster speed...
I'm really sorry I can't offer anything better, but this is what I got, and
it's the only thing surfaced so far apart from the MP3 of EGG...
Thanks for your patience.
