I just received a mail, Warner UK will be giving away a free wallet that will hold the 3 upcoming 7" together, there should be a mail about it in September.

For another time they tried to get my email list, and of course I refuse and say I'd send it myself if they just send me the email ;)

And I hope you believe our privacy policy ;)

Most of us registered with WB for info when Retro came out. All they have to do is email that list.

Have you ever had an email off them?

I've got sweet F.A.!

That's what they will do.

But obviously, my list (20,000+ people) is gold for them ;)

I think they wanted to buy it actually... :eek3:

It would be great, however it depends if Warner Oz either own or can lease record-pressing machines to knock out what may well be a limited pressing of maybe a few thousand copies of each 7" with the associated packaging mentioned by Spotnick. If the local division can't be arsed doing that, we may well be stuck with the prospect of paying thru the nose for import copies on the initial first release(or on Ebay) or relying upon the generosity of one or a couple of completely demented Aussie NOOLers buying (a) copy(ies) of the triple pack(s), digitally encoding each single and running off CD-R copies left right and centre for every other Aussie NO fan on this site(from which he/she would have to extract financial compensation for replacement media, sleepless nights and postage costs). Having said all that, if the triple packs don't make it down here and none of of the Oz faithful manage to get a copy to share around, I'm sure some of our fellow international associates will share thier toys with us colonials.

Everytime there's a new release good old monsieur Warner sends me a press release... I probably spend more money on them than you! :evil4:

Rest easy, mmh.......so far 90% of the 7" that appeared in our local music shops ( JB Hifi, Utopia, Red Eye for Sydney ppl ) are imports anyway and we dont seem to be paying too much for them - most are priced between $8.99 to $12.99 ( the fancy gatefold-sleeved or coloured vinyl 7"s )....I got all INTERPOL 7"s so far for $8.99 each.:thumb: ...and I paid $9.99 for a nice red-coloured 7" of THE KILLERS single 'Smile Like You Mean It'.:)

There's a local chain in New England called Newbury Comics that's really good with imports. They'll probably have the 7"s as well as Singles. Thank goodness for them, since us Americans don't get diddly shit!

I wouldn't have complained if you gave them our E Mail addresses... good if this keeps them happy and I don't really care... I already receive so much spam, some more won't make any difference, it'll just mean I have to take a few extra seconds to delete it before it even loads. For future new members you could put a box to tick in the registration form whether they accept to receive messages from third party companies trusted by the webmaster, and this would include the record company of course. I don't complain about spam because I usually get it because I had to agree to receive it when I installed some software or subscribed to some Internet service, so it makes no sense to complain and if that's the price of freeware, always better than money! ;) I'd like to be able to pay with receiving spam rather than money sometimes... like I go to the pub and accept to receive some flyers in my snail mail box rather than pay 3 Euros for a beer! Doesn't it sound good? ;)
