Best chorus and best "bridge" in a New Order song?

I've seen them all, but I've never seen anybody discuss that.

There isn't many "bridges" in New Order's music, in fact, I'm not even sure there were pre-2001, I can think of Turn My Way and Here To Stay on top of my head.

To me, the bridge on Here To Stay is probably the most powerful one.. if it's even considered as one, they turned it into a chorus in the Felix Da HouseCat remix.. "We're here to stay..."

Best chorus? it doesn't go with the song necessairly.. the song might be poor but the chorus is wonderful, the opposite is also true (Someone Like You comes to mind)

So, what's the best chorus done by New Order?

Regret? Temptation? Bizarre Love Triangle? True Faith?

If when you expect a verse or a chorus you get something that is musically and lyrically different from both verse and chorus then that's the bridge.

Normally you should have heard the verse at least twice. The bridge may then replace the 3rd verse or follow it thus delaying the chorus. In both cases it leads into the chorus.

I guess it's the exact same thing.

That's too generic, a bridge is usually a part of a song different from all the rest that is used ONCE only in a song.

Or according to the description from wikipedia, it's also a chorus with modified lyrics (a New Order speciality)...

But usually, New Order don't have briges in their songs.. they don't structure them that way. At least vocal bridges...

Best example for me of a bridge in New Order's work is on the Perfect Kiss when it goes "when you are alone at night..." and ends with "kiss of death" it's not the chorus and it's not the normal vocal stucture neither... there should have been a chorus elsewhere after this, but there is a gigantic orgasmic instrumental portion instead...

Let's say New Order aren't confirmists ;)

Oh, and Billy Corgan does the bridge in Turn My Way, he's repeating the chorus at a totally different pace... after the instrumental part.

Better example than The Perfect Kiss I must say...
