Anyone fancy having a go at interpreting it?

Could it be symbolic of New Order embracing their rich past to forge a future, while NO are symbolised as a woman bathing in the river?

Or is it an excuse to see a naked body?

Well in the movie 'Sirens', 3 buxom laydeez (including Elle MacPherson) emerge from a similar looking waterhole to entice the main character Norman Lindsay.

I do like the cover, wonderful photography worked into a chiarscuro-like background and the sensuality of the naked woman highlighted by soft, glowing waters. Artistically done so it doesn't come across as sleazy.

Its obvious that the picture is a direct interpretation of the Sirens's Song.

as i mentioned in the sticky thread, the cover of the single reminds me of 'o brother, where art thou,' e.g. the odyssey.

Ok, ok...so I had them touch up the chest area a LITTLE. I mean it was too warm ther efor my nipples to be that erect and I was too nervous in front of the camera to be turned on. And maybe my buttocks aren't that firm. But it's still me.

I think it's a tasteful image, but you gotta know that if it gets released in other formats in other countries, some countries (read: USA), it's gonna be censored. Ooo. too riské!!

It's sheer art. Of course the image is sensual, but not erotic, well at least it's not supposed to be. But the spirit of the photography is the same of the paintings of the Reinassance age, or better the Impressionism period in the late 19th century. Then I know many Americans are crazy and would rather see a public execution than a naked woman...

definetely more arty than porno, without getting too poncey, it kind of reminds me of gaugin (is that a good thing? Not sure) I won't know how i feel about it until i see it on the actual sleeve .Does anyone know who took the pic?

i trust you mean 'o brother, where art thou.' yes, it's a good film. if you like the coen brothers, you won't be disappointed.

i've never seen a literal interpretation of the odyssey on film, but i hated the book. although i did quite enjoy wolfgang petersen's intepretation of the iliad, even though i doubt the entire population of troy was that attractive.
