Hey Nic...How about publishing an email address here that we can all send hate mail to regarding the WFTSC single release?

a good legit way to vent, and maybe get them to wise up maybe?

I dunno - people complain endlessly that the band have lost the perverseness which made them special, and then they do something perverse and everyone complains.

Damn good point, they should release it on DAT while they're at it, who gives a toss if it charts, most people here realise the chart system is crap and no way of decidng which is the best record, or crazy frog would not have charted.

I'll just have to dig out the record deck from the loft, record it on the mac and save onto CD at some point.

Makes for an excellent collectors peice as well, especially for us brits that get the free case !

Nothing's wrong provided your grandpa's gramophone is still in good state...

I remember that the comments on HERE about Retro having too few rarities caused some heated debate that lead into the 5th disc.

So, what can I say... continue like that, I sure will tell them about it...

Nobody started a petition just yet?

with all the New Order stuff coming out this year, it would be pretty hypocritical to bitch... 4 singles(?), an album, a video collection, a proper singles complilation hopefully, a cool 3 X 7" single collection... are you never at least a little satisfied?!

"WFTSC" probably has little chance of radio airplay anyway, why are you arguing, jsut for a token release so you can buy the two singles for your collection? hell, they are giving you three rarities?

if you want to hear the songs, if they don't want to sell the digital mp3s, you might be able to illegally download some free blackmarket mp3s (if they won't sell it to you, you will feel absolutely no guilt since you have bought everything else anyway)

I was disappointed at first by the lack of CD version, but look at it this way.......

If you are a NO completist and want a lovely piece of NO merchandise to look at, then you're gonna buy the 7" singles anyway (look at the beautiful artwork - best for AGES!)

If you are not a total completist, but want to hear the track on CD, then PLAY THE ALBUM VERSION! Official N.O. remixes and radio edits which stuff the CD singles tend to be a bag of shite anyway.

You could only be upset if you were expecting a stunning B-side - but what are the chances! The last decent NO B-side was probably 1963 on the reverse of True Faith.

Releasing the 7" is off script, but a good idea. The annoying thing is when they keep letting out contradictory press releases which flip flop all over the place!

Maybe the next release can be on one of those prehistoric plinky plonky discs, the one's that your great great gran used to have where notches in a big fat metal disc set off the notes on a metal rack which chimed out the plonks and plinks in time to the notches of the groove...

I'm sure someone knows what i'm talking about...

Don't worry, I know what you're talking about.

Honestly, I don't have that much problem with them releasing it as 7" only. I mean, they're known for doing what *they* want to, not what others say they should do, so releasing the single on vinyl is the perfect way to do that. Also, you could say that by doing this, they're maybe reconnecting with their past. I don't know...

I like the idea of the 7" singles but would also like a CD single. At least I can play the 7"s :thumb:

Perhaps a release exclusively on DAT AND DCC and the video on laserdisc. That'll teach those whinging NO fans. :abovelol:

Yes.. My daughter has a Fisher Price one.If they did release it on plinky plonky, at least I would hear that Temptation B side I was looking forward to hearing. As it stands I'm f^cked. Why no cd?Awkward twats:scratch:All because the know diddly marketing shmucks wanted Jizzstream..This aint a proper single release:thumbdown:and this moaning bugger thinks its a shame for the Order, that bigger tossers than Wilson now pull the strings...Unless ofcourse"WE got it all wrong, the CD is not the wrong one"cos I won't know where to turn if the cd IS gone :eek3:...Corny as that sounds:D
