Seriously...

NewOrderWeb.com's last update is September 24th 2001.. they never updated their concert list for the Australian tour and they didn't even annouce the winner of the Crystal remix contest.

There is NOTHING going on there, and their forum is the worst I've seen so far

As for NewOrderGetReady.com, it's flashy, but totally useless.. you can't get anything out of this unless you are as stone as New Order in the 80's. Even as a "web professional", I can't work my way in that interface.. sure it's nice, but try to go there more than once and you want to shoot yourself!

How come the labels can't do a decent official site? Gosh, I don't spend any money and I have a better site than they do :D (Well, the UK site does have a better look that NewOrderOnline, but still..)

I agree, Nick. That's why we all need you and Seb! You can quit your jobs, dump your girlfriends, and become monks devoted to NO. The Order of the Brotherhood of the Order! :) Isn't it worth it for us darling boarders? ;)

Nic, your site is the best New Order related site! The worst ones being the two official ones!

It's very sad. However, rest assured that there is a forum worse than the one on neworderweb. The Yahoo! Groups forum had two whole posts in December! Thirty-eight members strong!

I just read Liv's post that any U.S. live dates aren't going to happen, which is no surprise. The Reprise Web site hasn't been updated since the album release. "Crystal" has been the one and only single released here so far. Strange, since Billboard listed Crystal as No. 3 on its HOT DANCE MAXI-SINGLES SALES year-end chart (smacking down Madonna at No. 9). I don't watch MTV, so I don't know what's going on there. Obviously not 60 MPH.

Let's face it. Reprise has given up on New Order. I can't imagine they're too busy promoting their other artists (heck, a handful of them are dead). Hell, perhaps you might enjoy:

8stops7 Sasha Alexander Arkarna B-52s Barenaked Ladies Book of Love Paul Brandt Nick Cave Claudia Church Eric Clapton Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Depeche Mode Disturbed Tanya Donelly Earth To Andy Enya Filter Fleetwood Mac Green Day Chris Isaak Andreas Johnson Kelly LeVesque
Gordon Lightfoot The Living End Loreta Joni Mitchell Alanis Morrissette New Order Stevie Nicks Nu Flavor Paul Oakenfold Prime sth Orgy Holly Palmer Lou Reed Kenny Wayne Shepherd Shootyz Groove Frank Sinatra Snake River Conspiracy Steely Dan THISWAY Wilco Yaz Dwight Yoakam Neil Young

Not a whole lot going on there now, 'cept for Alanis' new record. To paraphrase an old joke: What's the difference between Reprise Records and the Titanic? At least the Titanic had a good band.

Drag. :(

You couldn't be more right, Nicholas!! You have got every right to be proud of yourself for maintaining the best New Order website there is! And Sebastien of course too!! I fully share your views on NewOrderGetReady.com!! It is absolutely user-unfriendly and really makes you want to kill yourself after a few visits...so Spoetnik(also the name of a very nice maroccan hash variety) keep up the excellent work!!:smoking:

Yep - I will second that , NewOrderGetReady.Com is a complete dead duck - why have they even bothered? (oh - forgot, we all know the answer to that one, it's the same answer to why London decided to sign NO in the first place...) MOST COMPLETELY USELESS WEB SITE - EVER, anyone?? :nonono:
