I recently bought a 12" inch single by Electroset it's called How Does It Feel released in 1992 on the FFRR Label, a technoish record,Blue Monday all the way through with Barney's vocal's as well,is there anyone else have this and do they like it??? has anyone got any more info on this record Please??....

yeah, i got the cassette single version - a bit ravey, but quite good.
don't know too much about it though. the cassette is buried under a couple of hundred others at the back of my cupboard somewhere.
i think it reached the lower end of the top 40 in the uk when it was released
It got a fair bit of airplay over here on "alternative"s stations...I think I even picked it up on a CD Single....
heck, I might even still have the dang thing up in my media room...
I picked up the CD single in a second hand record shop in Dundee a good few years ago. I could never understand whether Electroset were a proper band/outfit or if it was just a one off novelty record? From what I remember the mixes themselves sounded really dated (every track sounded pretty much the same) and I never listened to the CD a second time. Thank god I only paid 99 pence for it. Perhaps it's something you had to hear at the time whenever Acid House or Techno were at their peak?
Must get my copy on eBay sometime, anything above a 2 quid would be acceptable!

This was just of those DJ produced maniacal but very cool techno/rave things of the early nineties, when everyone was ignoring song structure and just using samples from famous stuff to create a techno piece. most of it was wonderfully obnoxious, including this one
the 'DJ Remix Service' called Direct Hit had a fantastic urgent buzzing version of it on one of thier releases...I have it somewhere in my boxed-up vinyl. No longer a turntable in this house, Im afraid
The lyric of "How does it feel" is the only one used by Electroset. Gets repetitive and a bit boring after the first two minutes.
