That was a real, heavily run advert in 2001 - the girl in is Sienna Miller, and thats why Lifestyle have put it up on their webpage and are considering re-running it (she was a lot less famous in 2001 than she is now). They were using Crystal on the track before Get Ready was even out, and their website credits the music weirdly enough.
Yeah, I remember this one - it got particularly heavy rotation - but most people didn't know the music was NO! any of them who recognised barney's voice thought it must be an old track, presuming they had stopped making records (after Republic).
Does anyone know of NO being used in any other adverts - the only oher instances i can think of are Blue Monday (Sunkist and AmEx Blue Card) and Atmosphere (some banking company)?

I know of Monaco having been used for Sky Digital in the past, and TodayFM right through to now (Both WDYWFM), and Regret used for TodayFM (also still in use)
For a brief, brief moment there, I thought this might be about some connection between New Order and The Adverts.

Which is wrong, as the Amex Blue advert used Blue Monday.

This past summer, Blue Monday was used in a Mars (chocolate) bar ad playing in theatres here in Toronto. A guy would walk by an electronics store, street lights, a carousel. As he walked by, things would light up and come to life. The tagline was "Recharge on Mars".
