N.O. MERCHANDISE

Sorry to disagree with the reports on the previous threads, I thought the concert last night was superb. Maybe it is because it is the fist NO concert I have been to, where as the other people reporting seem to have gone to more NO concerts than had hot dinners.

I was disappointed at the variety (more like lack of) of tour memorabilia. I promised that I would get Shug a T shirt from the concert. There was only 2 styles available, one with the current album cover on the front and the other with a USA flag coloured similar to the gay & lesbian rainbow colours (maybe they are selling themselves to a new market!!). There was nothing else on sale.

Sorry Shug, though I did buy you a T shirt it is definitely nothing special. What does anyone else think about this?

Agree Joe. The merchandise was terrible. I ended up paying $40 for the Get Ready shirt just as a reminder of the concert. I was expecting more than just that.

As I posted on another thread, I thought it was a great concert but then again it was my first NO one.

Highlight on the night would have to be Blue Monday. I know people get bored of it and its predictable but it is a classic and sounds great live.

Jessy, what can I say? Enjoy the short time that KTFC are in the same league as you, they will be going up this year.

Shug, I was pretty impressed with the whole night but particulary impressed with Blue Monday, I listened to it so much in my youth that every time I listen to it now I can't stand it. But live was absolutely superb along with BLT.

Going up ? Arse they will. The only thing going up in Kettering will be the stand (in flames) if they run out of cash again......

Snoopy, a 1-1 draw and a 4-1 win should be enough evidence as to who is going up, KTFC

Mmmm have to say even for the skinniest of "birds" the get ready skinny would only just about fit where it touched!

In Cologne they were selling black t-shirts with the "Unknown Pleasures" cover and the tour dates on the back...but...very expensive...

The selection at the Big Day Out for NewOrder gear is just the same: the USA tee and the Get Ready tee. Disappointing for a band with so much delicious imagery associated with their product over the years.

Spend the $40 and order one of the tees from Blue Cat instead!

I agree with you guys the merchandise appalling.....

considering GARBAGE had city locations/dates printed on their Tee...making it more like a souvenir item...

Tell you what, I'll make you guys an offer you can't refuse. One original 1984 tour t-shirt (white with green sci-fi scene on front, tour dates on back), veteran of more gigs than I care to remember (it became like a uniform)......

Yours for the price of a return flight to Melbourne in time for one of the shows next week.......

I wish I still have my Tee from the Aust. Brotherhood tour with all the Pacific dates on....This Tee was stolen together with my Jesus & Mary Chain, Smiths ( and heaps of other stuff ) when my house was broken into 5 years ago...

Nice-ish girl in Derby? Dont exist mate! My only defence is thank fuck im not local... in an outsider! Having said that, the fellas arent much better, lots of inbreds with two heads... Fine if you like tht kinda thing...

Im yet to see a half decent NO t any where i do have the Republic promo t and that is horrible im guessing they dont care as all the JD tee's probably sell more any way plus they look better

I have a very nifty NO t-shirt that I picked up at the Liverpool gig. It's red with one white stripe a la Get Ready and has New Order written in gold on the back, but the writing is so tiny you would miss it.

Only someone with a trained New Order eye would be able to tell its an NO 'T' so its kinda cool.

i just had a look at the blue cat site the technique and blue monday shirt look very BUY BUY BUY

I saw a guy rock up to the Hordern in a bage Warsaw T-Shirt, I thought it was pretty cool. ;)
