Temptation 7"

Stupid question probably but where the hell can i get the 7" version of temptation. I can find the actual 7" anywhere, i searched new york high and low while i was there for the hammerstein gig. So my question is does the version exist any where else, cd, digital, whatever. And is it for sure confirmed that the 7" version is on "singles"?

The only official release it's had so far is on the original 7". I can't say for sure whether it's on Singles or not, but the report we had earlier does sound reliable.

A truncated version of the 7" can be found on the Something Wild soundtrack. That clocks in at about 3:30, vs. 5:30 or so for the full 7" version.

well i hope it is on Singles then, if not i am up a creek and will have to continue my relentless search.

it was released in 1982, so it's long out of print if that is what you are asking

Barney Army, this "Face Down" has a copy he is willing to part with or does he just tell you about it. And i know that the song is a 1982 release and i know its not in print anymore, so i was asking if anyone had a copy of it, digital or hard. thanks again. You can find copies on Ebay quite often. I heard it was on some sort of 'Now That's What I Call Music' or 'Hits' compilation CD back in the mid-eighties, but have never worked out which one. Even if it is on 'Singles' it's still worth getting the 7 inch for a tidy edit of 'Hurt'.

As I've said before, once 'Singles' comes out, if there's any "wrong" versions on there (i.e. not the single mixes) I shall be sharing mp3s online and posting the links here. If London still can't be bothered to archive, remaster and redistribute the original vinly versions, then I bloody well will! Watch this space.
