Does the video 586 Cd single released in the mid 90's contain the full version of the song?

Is this 586 more like the album version or the peel sessions one? I think the peel one is so much stronger and better than the album one - I wont bother ordering it from whereever if its like the album.

Also does anyone happen to know if the more recent peel sessions disc was ever released in Oz?

Neither, but as you seem to prefer the rough and brilliantissimo Peel session version : Video586 is the full length instrumental from early '82 and is the roughest version (that originaly was on Fact56 Video 'a Factory video' in '82, at the end of the tape as a 'shadow' track), cult classX. All the best, Didier

Thanks!

Yep, like the rougher version. I think it had more back to it, is a bit stronger. Godd stuff - I'm on to it.

It's MUCH more like the Peel Sessions version, but it hasn't got any vocals and it's still totally different. It's actually the track out of which Blue Monday evolved, and it's VERY obvious. There are some of the same chords used and so forth.

Is it me?, or does 5-8-6 sound like an intro to Blue Monday.

Im retarted just realize that's what was stated in the above post.

Getting a bit exited about this - I'll go and order it on sunday. Thanks for your help.

You used to be able to order this direct from Touch, rather than pay stupid eil / ebay prices - but it looks like they've run out of stock. All that is available now is a LIMITED EDITION POSTER.

I know I might be outstaying my welcome in this thread - but its gonna cost tonees for me to import thsi so i want to make sure i know what im getting. Is the song like the segment downloadable in the files section - lines going across the screen and so forth? The video section?

I remember getting this CD in the summer of 1997. It's hard to sit through and listen to it very often, in fact, I think I've only listened to in its entirety no more than three times. Kinda dull and monotonous.

I've got this on vinyl - paid 50p for it.

I did't realise it was so sought after. Am I a lucky **** or what
