So is there any news on Oz releases yet

I did check the Warner website and record shops, and they know nothing about collecion/item, also will we get the WFTSC single?

Gudday Ronny K My most recent news from Warner Aus is that "The Singles" is slated for October 29, "A Collection" DVD for around the same time. Not too sure on WFTSC single, but apparently CD promos (not the 1-track promo, the one with the remixes) are doing the rounds at radio stations right about now. No planned release for "NewOrderStory", but it might come eventually, although not bundled with "A Collection" as "Item". Depthy may have more info, but I think this is largely accurate. CTB

It's not really such a long wait is it?

We're getting the Singles around the same time as the UK and the DVD's due within a fortnight.

WFTSC is not getting a release here, just like almost every other country.

In years gone by, we'd get releases months after Europe.

in years gone I did not know any better. Now thanks to something called the www and nool in particular I get impatient.

I days gone it was always a nice surprise when I visited my fav record shop in town to find some new new order product, which seemed to be most times.

Ron, have you read the "have you got your singles yet?" thread? I've bitten the bullet and taken my chances ordering the CD single and the 3 7" singles off the HMV.com site and keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be despatched in one single delivery as opposed to a few smaller ones. Either way, they should start showing up sometime late next week. And, as nice as the slipcase is, I'll NOT be paying thru the nose on Ebay for one. I think CTB, Depthy and Solitude have resigned themselves to having to get the singles from OS as well. As said before, once I have mine I'm copying them straight into digital format and archiving the actual singles themselves(like I've done with some previous stuff I received recently). Catch up with you next week.

I'll have to see what Red Eye Records in Sydney come up with. They seem to get all the no-official Oz releases anyway and usually at a decent price.
