Waiting For The Sirens' Call New Order's catchiest tune?

The song 'Waiting For The Sirens' Call kind of passed me by a little bit when I listened to the album of the same name, but since I got hold of the promo CD single a few weeks back, it has dawned on me how damnright catchy this bloody song it - I have literally had the lyrics looping through my head day and night. I'd have to say it's NO's catchiest tune, and a great choice for a single.

That end refrain along the lines to Ceremony and Regret is a classic, and even more so on the Jacnife Lee Remix when it's heard twice.

Anyone else agree? Make. It. Stop.

I dunno... I find that every NO single released seems super-catchy to me if it's released; the crunch is whether or not you think the same over a period of years...

WFTSC is a 'grower' though; didn't think much of it when I first heard it; now it's in my top 5 off the album.

I think it's a bit overrated; theres Krafty, Turn, Guilt and Who's Joe which I reckon are as strong or stronger than this...

nothing more 'catchy' than JET

the rest need a bit more time, which is what makes them better.

'I told you so' is a good example, I thought it was wank until eventually I succummed to THAT beat

The first run-through listening to the new album, Jetstream was catchy, then I listened to Guilt and I knew it would be an awesome single and couldn't wait. Shows what I know. But doesnt mean I'm not pissed (as in upset, not drunk) about it not being a single.

I have been alternating WFTSC and Regret in my head for about a week now. I thought Krafty was going to edge out Regret, but WFTSC took the lead. I do think that WFTSC has a high catchy factor, and agree that it would make an excellent single.

Actually this song has grown on me more than any other track on the album...the instrumentals at the end remind me of classic NO...

the rhythym of the vocals on krafty is quite catchy. the harmonies on turn are catchy as well! it's all good!

In terms of "catchyness" off that album, "Who's Joe?", "I told you so" and "Guilt is a useless emotion" get stuck in my head easily.
