im very bored waiting for N.O to come into chat but while waiting ive come up with the idea of having a chat room in here since the message board seems to be very lively any one agree?

Good idea, chat room in here would be great. Would be great to exchange banter of our New Order experiences over the years...Not that I am old or anything???????
A chatroom might remove some of the mysteriousness (is that a word?) of some of our users. Also, you'd have to think of something to say quickly... which for shug would be a real problem. ;)

A few of us already use Yahoo Messenger instead of claterring up the board, although at times it doesn't look like it;) Major if yer afraid you won't be able to reply quick enough - that can mean only one thing mate - there's nothing in yer head Except for the prices of Banana's and tins of beans - and having to worry whether some of yer stock is nearly out of date
So don't start having a go at me hippy;)
I brought up the idea of a chatroom ages ago, but i was considered a no-go idea. Not a problem, it just means that if people want to chat they should make alternative arrangements.
I suggested a few weeks back that people downloaded yahoo messenger to have a natter, and for some of us its worked...
I think a chat room would be a great idea, and i thought this about 6 months ago, but if not, use messenger...

Steve, i have MSN to, and this works perfectly with it. ON the last few nights ive chatted to April, Shug, Tim and Muffy....would be great if others joined in.... :) Get it done tonight and we'll all meet ya later on for a natter! raaaagh!

Major, in the old days the two would'nt work together but with the latest versions they work just fine side by side.

Yahoo messenger refuses to connect on my computer!
MSN messenger works fine, but not the yahoo one. Anyone on MSN messenger?

I'm all in favour of a chatroom, as it would stop the hijacking of certain threads on here for irrelevant posts. Can't foresee a bandwidth problem if it is an external chatroom that "floats" and allows you to carry on browsing the site at the same time.
