this is from the fall's forum... it's great fun, but i have no idea how to set it up. seems like a bit of work, but it would certainly be interesting. see what you think. they seem to do this every year, just to see.
Nice suggestion, but NOOL did a very similar thing way before the other bands' fan sites. If I remember correctly, it was done in stages where the song with the least votes was dropped each week in order to find an overall winner. I can't remember for the life of me which track won though. We now have another two albums to include - possibly a GR vs WFTSC playoff?
yeah, we did the Survivor Game, twice! Both times i believe we did all the albums against each other, then each song on the album against each other, then all the winners of all the albums against each other. if searching were possible it wouldn't be necessary to drag it out again. Didn't we just do WFTSC recently?
The Fall Cup has been running for 18 years now. 47 of the members have died awaiting the result, and the band have released 139 albums since it began, thus invalidating the results-uh!

There have been quite a few really strange results - and one or two incredibly lucky songs that got a long way wthout ever really facing any competition. Just like the FA Cup!
